I am not the boy next door. I'm an Englishman, born and bred, by culture and by accent, and have been in Vancouver for over 20 years. I was a "private" school boy, but life has roughened my edges. I have good manners and a good mind. Interested in almost everything, but least of all team sports. Especially music, art, philosophy, science... I love to be creative and believe the "meaning of life" is to be altruistic and creative as best you can. Mostly, I draw and strum my guitar and listen to intelligent conversations and try to think for myself. I've spent too much of my life grieving, and too much of it alone. I am a self-contained and somewhat introverted person. Though I'm also known for talking too much - and for saying what I think. I'm not politically correct, but wholeheartedly opposed to bigotry! Genders, ages, colours, races, religions... I am not at all religious and though I may respect what your spirituality does to ease your journey, I am not likely to entertain supernatural beliefs. But again, I am open to the possibilities. It fascinates me to think that this whole "reality" of time, space and even 3 dimensions may in fact be an illusion. In which case, anything is possible. After a solid career in logistics and another in social services working with mental health and homelessness , I'm at another turning point... I'm open to the possiblities... I'm not in a hurry... probably should be! ha-ha But I need relationships with intelligent people who are peaceful, sensual and affectionate.
