the other shoe

life has a way of biting me in the ass lately and not in a good way.

my ex husband who is not really an ex since I never bothered to divorce him, I just haven't lived with for over 25 years asked to move home. it was an odd request coming as it did timing wise...a story I have yet to tell....and it seemed that it was based on his health although it wasn't actually verbalized. However, we did go to a lawyer and rewrite our will. his idea.

also lots of doctor appointment and meds. though I haven't snooped.

so i'm worried. and it's also a little weird to have him here although he was always here a fair amount. he walked Charlie every day, did all the holidays, etc. dropped by with goodies.

I don't know, I hope i'm wrong.

You cannot conceive the many without the one.

Oh my. Will you be moving into a caregiver role with him?

I'll be intrigued to hear how this all works out.

Good Luck.

So does the ex being there crimp your style?

What a surprise! Good luck to you and him and adjusting to the new life "together!" My sister had her ex ask to move back in with her while he was recuperating from a horrific car/bike accident, it was a huge stress for her but she said there was no way she could say no to it. (hugs)

Sorry to hear that your ex-husband is sick hun, and wow moving back with you. I bet that was a real shock, but I'm sure things will work out for the best. Its great of you to help him out, and that you two are still civil to each other. Good luck hun to the both of you..

Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

That is my worst nightmare. Literally. I have a recurring dream about my ex suddenly deciding to move back in with me. Not sure what THAT is all about.

Anyway, this is very sweet of you to do, and I do hope whatever health problem is lurking isn't too serious.

You are a better person that I am or will be. I could not and will not agree to such a proposal. I hope you dont make yourself ill in any fashion if this goes sideways. Hugs and positive voodoo, my friend

Oui…

You are most certainly an extremely good-hearted critter!

I could clog up your posting with details, of late, from my "ex"... but I shall not do so. I'll post those details in my own BLOG, in a reasonably short period of time. You may then read them; and weep... at your leisure.

Solar...

BTW: I'd bite yer ass, too...

My aunt moved in with her ex when he was sick, and he eventually died and left her the house.
So it was good for her.
Good luck, sis,

My 1st e, yeah, I could manage it, my 2nd wife of course gone since '97, 3rd wife, NO WAY !!! Live-ins, #1 maybe, #2 prob not, #3 absolutly and no reservations about her whatsoever, #4 died 7 years ago, #7 yes, I could & would as I owe her an un-repayable debt ! THESE PEOPLE ARE OUT OF YOUR LIFE FOR A REASON THO! Those reasons rarely go away. By allowing them in again openes you up to all the probs of the past compounded with new ones from the times in between. So I hope I never have to face this, but the ONE I would without question, as it was MY fault we seperated, not hers, and I was stupid to run away from her !

Wow. That's unexpected! Sending y'all all the best. <3

Age cannot wither her, nor custom stale
Her infinite variety. Other women cloy
The appetites they feed, but she makes hungry
Where most she satisfies. For vilest things

Bless her when she is riggish. ~~ from Antony & Cleopatra
