Do our and grandchildren really need to learn about gender fluidity..

... a nonsense concept anyway..

How impressionable are infants and ? Science says, "Very impressionable" . Between infant stage and adolescence is when we develop our basic imprinting. Meaning, who , or what, we are attracted to in life, or want to be when we grow up.

Take a , boy or girl, to see a Spiderman movie, the wants to wear a Spiderman costume. Sometimes, wearing a costume allows a person to tap into confidence they didn't know they had, and helps them overcome shyness. The is developing [in part] who they will become, by wearing , and pretending , in the costume.

So why are parents reasoning, taking their to a, "Drag queen story time", in a public library, is a good idea?

Anna , creator of the Facebook group, "500 Mom Strong", has spoken out against Drag Queen Story Hour. She has said, "Drag is extremely offensive to women". "We should not be teaching [male] that dressing like a woman is okay to mock women". I would say, "We should not be teaching our male that dressing like women is okay".

Some of the other augments against this national event have been adults yelling Biblical stuff.
To me, the Bible thumpers have a weak base for their argument, because this only comes down to one, "Nonsense-mind washed", arguing against, the "Mentally confused".

The pro statements for the event, "Events are designed to promote gender diversity, inclusiveness, and providing with LGBTQ role models." " are able to see men who defy rigid gender restrictions and imagine a world where people can present as they wish, where dress up is real." ................ [Call Protection Services]. That quote, reminds me of something M. Jackson said when defending himself in court.

are not going to conceptualize , "Hey these grownups are defying rigid gender restrictions". ...fuck no! This nonsense is done by adults who should be locked up for the mental abuse of a /contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Do really need LGBTQ role models?

These men dressed as women are said to be ,"Entertainers and have a right to perform in public". ....Okay...so maybe the Library should have female Strippers come to the Library and read for , dressed in their Strip wear. They're Entertainers, too. Maybe your daughters/grand daughters will role model a Stripper.

You present an interesting argument as to what to expose children to during their impressionable years. But you should also take into consideration exposure to violence and hatred; bigotry and racism.

But you should also take into consideration exposure to violence and hatred; bigotry and racism..... Okay, what about the exposure? What's your stand/outlook on those conditions? My observation on a child's exposure to "Life", in general, will be a personal development journey full of all variations of lessons. However, the first 10-12 years are parent-critical, to how much exposure he/she will encounter.

Yes!
Why?
Because idiots keep electing politicians based on hollywood morals.

Make no mistake, this is the democrats coming home to roost and its all about catering to the .05% in an effort to garner a declining base of voters. Moreover, its their way of bringing the USA and other countries back to the chaotic social norms of cavemen where only the strong (war mongers) survive against the intellectual evolution of man.

You know I have a trans history so I'm not going to argue right and wrong with you. I think the topic of LGBT should simply be glossed over in health or diversity class. Otherwise kids are curious and ask questions such as why are some people black and some white, some in wheelchairs, etc. Parents should answer those questions when they come up. I don't think anyone should be elevated to a superior state. I believe Hitler tried to sell the world on that idea, and in reality, many religions also try to sell that concept. Take care of yourself, leave others to live their own life.

You really need to stop being such a passive pussy. Only because a topic may be a "Woman's issue", does not mean I, or anyone else, must "Always" be pro that issue.

No children should be left alone and gawd if i seen my father dressed like that i would have nightmares for the rest of ,my life..children have enough pressure from all sides of the coin so why pressure and push the adult fantasies andevil ways of sick minds on them..When they are old enough to make their own decisions in life as how they want to go then support is all thats needed...sick minds create sicker minds...leave the kids alone.

Men in drag , like this, should stay in cabarets and other adult places. This shouldn't be something to expose to undeveloped minds [highly impressionable]. ...Thank you for posting.

There is a thing called “ age appropriate”. Those people apparently have no concept of it. A lot of kids grow up with a fear of clowns because they can look scary to a child. Look at those pics and imagine how scary that may look to a child. Normal women do not usually look like that. And a small child will never think, oh he is just finding his identity. Can’t we let kids be kids these days?

You're from my generation... The world is an overly sensitive Fucked up place in some regards...
Puhleez... 😊
And then in other areas... it's as backwards as it gets.... 🤔
Yep... let's sensitize our kids to our fuck ups. How about educating them about inclusivity? And then things will take care of themselves.

Heathen_G replies on 6/18/2019 5:16 pm:
I agree. But I'm almost certain if we taught "Inclusivity", some group would get riled up about being a group that needs to be "Included", as if they should have been just naturally accepted. I think learning about physical and mental disabilities, later, in school should cover this well enough, for starters. ... Thank you for posting.

My comment: Children should not have these adult-nonsense concepts pushed on them. Children should be allowed to grow up and make their own decisions on the world around them, when they get old enough to understand what is going on. I think something like this is very odd. Seems to me some sort of societal attempt at normalizing people who are mentally not well. They have gender dysphoria , confused about their own personal identity. Is this something you want your children and grandchildren to consider as healthy, and role model, after? I wouldn't. When they become adults and make that decision for themselves, then so be it. I find it repugnant that certain powers of society is attempting this mass brainwashing on children to further their own fantasy of a fucked up gender dysphoric utopia
