I'd agree with all except 10 10. Bad grammar is one of your biggest turn offs. If it's someone whose English is a second language, it's not a turn off for me.

Whoever put #10 on this list is not a sapiosexual. Most people in this category are also not rigidly adherent to social norms, including grammar as it is too restricting. Of course, that's me, so I'm going to think that.

Guess I'm only 90% sapiosexual and 10% shallow slut.... Physical attraction is a must for me and that's based on the physical. He can be the smartest, most interesting conversationalist in the world but if he's not physically attractive to me, I'm not going to be sexually attracted to him.

...okay technically 8% shallow slut!

Nice set of guidelines, #10 is an issue, it has been 60 years since I was in school, They did not have keyboards, spell check and a lot of the things that are in use today, after a small stroke leaving one's left hand kinda stupid , it is hard to make these things put on paper, what sometimes is in one's mind, So #10 I observe with reservations, I do like intelligent conversation over BS . Thanks for the post, have a good day, be safe.. While I am reluctant to self-identify as *sapio-sexual*, I am intrigued (okay, *aroused*) by those who do. Curious about the use of words such as "hate", "brutism" and "incredible" (which struck me as hyperbolic) I surfed over to the source article, which is hilariously riddled with usage errors, passive voice and sloppy prose. Apparently, sapio-sexuals need not apply at "Thought Catalog". The comments that rejected the notion that "bad grammar" should be a "turn-off" resonate. Language is organic and evolutionary. We should both understand and respect its progression (or in the case of "your" versus "you're" its lack thereof).
