+^+ The brutes

I was outside this morning taking care of my brutes. I have always had dogs and they have always been integral to my home life. They seem to love without reservation. And can be so selfless in their service to their owners. My guys are big and rather rambunctious almost like having two permanently age boys . My preference is these big guys (the first two pictures are representative of them). But there are so many types and varieties that people like, who am I to say which is the best? . Now, to be fair, although I am not a cat person, I know many of you are. What attracts you to them? Are you a person, or a cat person?

Similar to my guys

Since my brutes are much to large for the house and actually prefer to be outside, I have been considering a Corgy (not sure which one) for in the house. [image]

I love dogs too but I am too busy and travel to much to get another dog. I had a dog when I was a kid after I join the Military no more. I have cats instead and they keep me entertained all the time. I had a beautiful big orange cat come visit me this morning. hugs V

I've had both and actually prefer cats. However we have a cute little chihuahua that is adorable.

I have cats all my life. I did have Meaghan an AKC registered Keeshond as a new puppy. It was so unfair to her- I was gone all day working tow jobs so I let some retired friends adopt her. Lily will be 18 Oct 1 and she thinks she is three. This is the first time I have had a single kitty, usually two or more but her"scamp in frolic" is now in cat haven. Cats have a tolerance for being ignored and it's safe to go off for 2-3-4 days and leave them home without mishap. They still love you

Good morning Pal, you know I used to be a dog person, until I had to have my baby Alex put to sleep.. Now I am into cats, and I have been looking for a Siamese Kitten, I have wanted one for such a long time..

Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

Definitely a dog person. And, the bigger dogs, too (though, not as big as your brutes!). Ours were labs and English setters.

My daughter has cats, and I like them well enough (except when they dig their claws into my lap or leave dead things as an offering). But, I will never own a cat, I refuse to do the litter box thing.

Pets are wonderful...I do miss having them around.

Sometimes the mutts are a great choice, so much personality

It is best to have a pet you can care for and enjoy.

There is so much room, why not both?

The main thing is that you enjoy them and all their quirks
